BC Progress Board Finishing Its WorkAs announced in Canada Starts Here: The BC Jobs Plan and reiterated in the October 3, 2011 Speech From The Throne, the BC Progress Board will be transitioned into a new Jobs and Investment Board with a mandate "to hold government's feet to the fire, clearing the way for job creation while continuing to monitor key economic and social indicators."The BC Progress Board plans to release its final benchmark report in December, 2011.
